Waxing is a technique of hair romoval. The difference between waxing and shaving is that shaving cuts the tip of the hair off and waxing lifts the hair up from the root. So when the hair grows back it comes in at a point vrs. a cut off tip Yes, with time the folicule will be damaged enough that the hairs will stop growth. When the hair is cut off that is what causes it to be itchier. When you get lots of ingrown hairs it is because the skin is not exfoliated and the hair can not pop out of the skin and just continues to grow under the skin.
Before your first visit the hard part is not to use the razor or tweezers. The hair has to be 1/4 of an inch for the wax to be able to adhere to the hair. The hairs grow is they come in 2 week cycles. With the first visit is the 1st set of hair growth, then you come back 2 weeks later (to the day) to get the second round of growth. After that second visit you are ready for your monthly maintenance visits.
The biggest trick is not to cheat on me with the razor or tweezers. It is key to achieving success. It is truly worth it in the long run.
