What is an Estetician?

As an esthetician we by Nebraska State Law are allowed to give facials work on the superficial layers of the skin, waxing services, natural nail care, make up application and body treatments treatments to help you look your best.  They can help clear up acne, get rid of blackheads, make dull skin look brighter and have a glow, and advise you on which products are the best for you and how to use them. We are not allowed to diagnose skin conditions.

There is increasingly move toward dual-therapists -- often massage therapists who get their esthetician license. Which is exactly what I did. Spa directors like it because they can legally do all the treatments on the menu.
